Insulating Lime Plaster
Insulating Lime Plaster at The Rectory

If the walls are flat and true we would use a straightforward system of woodfibre board and lime plaster which is suitable for most solid-wall masonry. This breathable system uses natural materials that will maintain a healthy internal climate

However, if the project is not suited to wood fibre boards as is the case most of the time with older buildings, then we can use insulating plaster which can be used in place of the boards.

This special plaster is a thermally insulating lime basecoat for rendering and plastering. It is a high quality insulating plaster made with light-weight mineral aggregates and natural hydraulic lime.

It is highly breathable and has enhanced resistance to salts from its open poured structure. It is applied and built up in coats up to 30mm thickness.
